Scaled to approximately 1:6 with attention paid to a true to original appearance with favorable flight characteristics. The model can be operated using an electric power system or with an internal combustion engine about 60cc displacement.

This is the best modeled BF 109 Messerschmitt I've seen in a good while except for guys that have built them from plans and a short kit.... As far as an ARF goes though this one is the best I have seen so far but those tires are just wrong on this particular bird. Why do you guys always do that? You almost turn in a nice looking product and you totally screw the pooch on some iconic part of the bird that you just let go totally.. You could have just spent a little more time sourcing the correct landing gear and wheels and had a ace of a product man but you let it down with those cheap *** wheels.

I was having slight movement where it attaches to the fuse. Was causing my Cortex to go crazy. Plane flies Fantastic Now!

Flies Great with a DLE 55 RA. However, it overheated on the maiden flight. Motor got so hot the it began to melt the carbon fiber prop that was on it (pictures attached). Had to open up the cowling a little more, make a Diffuser & Drilled about 8, 1/2" Holes in the bottom rear of the cowl to get the hot air out. The only other issue I had was the spinner and backplate. So out of balance! Shook the plane so badly that it knocked out the exhaust off the cowl on both sides. So make sure you take a look at yours and correct it before 1st flight. With everything else taken care of the 2nd Flight I had no issues with the motor overheating. Overall Quality is Good, Looks Awesome, Flies Great & Ground handling is no issue on grass. Lands fairly easy for a warbird!

Correction to weight required for CG balance
This model did NOT REQUIRE ANY NOSE WEIGHT BALLAST with my set up. Zero ballast required to achieve 126mm CG.

Electric power train with 22x12 XOAR PJN prop, GP160 180Kv Motor, 120amp ESC, 12s dual 6s 100c 8000mAh LiPo, 2s 2200mAh LiPo for retracts, 2s LIFE 2200mAh for receiver, Aura8 stabilizer controller with dual Spektrum receivers, HiTech 645 servos. The model builds very straight forward with no surprises, for this large bird the dual elevator servos are seated into the horizontal stabilizer...therefore you will need to install Hi-Tec 7245mg digital mini (x2 Elevator only) to fit. The wings fasten to fueselage side pins via clamps inside the wings that have access holes on top of the wings. The fuel tank is hard fastened to the bottom of the fuselage (would be great to retrofit as functional drop tank). The aluminum spinner back plate may need balancing as usual for any model. The provided plywood balancing jig will need to be modified with a hole cutter to use in order to set the CG at or near 126mm. My set up required 1lb of nose weight to balance. I found the model flies excellent at that CG with absolute straight arrow tracking, no tail waggle and zero incident issue. Take off and landings are effortless. Flight presence in this size is impressive. This bird deserves a strong 5star rating for price, quality and flight performance. Highly recommend reviewing HobbySquawk for build comments. I recommend this model for your warbird fleet - it's an exceptional aircraft on the ground and in the air. My maiden was a non-event stress free flight and proven again with two following flights for full acrobatics with a full 6min flight duration. https://www.facebook.com/sean.dickerson.94/videos/1215443106124565/?idorvanity=897108777041350

Lots of options for an engine choice including a shortened firewall for the NGH 60cc inline, that I plan to use for this model as with all arf’s these days it can use some going over with CA and always check the firewall. I have the 1/4 scale FW190 from BH and it is amazing flyer and looks great, the colors on this one match this plane . I know the BF109 will more of a challenge on takeoff and landing. I plan to stay assembling as soon as flying season passes. Look on YouTube for a full review
